Two of the four students who will fight in this year’s Mathcounts National Competition in Colorado are from the Marianas Baptist Academy. Dong Hee Im and Sung Hoon Ha, both from MBA, dominated the person countdown round and are the first two top winners of this year’s state competition.

They will be joined by Saipan International School’s Harry Jun and Mount Carmel School’s Feng Lizama at this year’s Mathcounts National Competition in Colorado on May 9, 2008. MBA’s Manatsu Omari came in fifth place, followed by Sung Eun An, MBA; Ji Hoon Choi, Calvary Christian Academy, Laurence Jason Camacho, MCS; Jimin Ryu, SIS; and John Aglubat, Hopwood Jr. High School.
