Gomal University is located on Indus High Way, 13 Km away from Dera Ismail Khan (NWFP), the second biggest city of NWFP Province, covering an area of about 1150 acres. There are 4 Faculties and 22 departments.
There are fully facilitate laboratories, classrooms, lecture halls. The university has its own mosques, libraries, administration block, sports complex etc.
The university has its own ISP (Internet Service Provider) that provide internet facilities at very economical cost. Admissions start in the month of August and the classes start in the first week of September each year.
The medium of instruction at Gomal University is English.
