PIM's MBA attracts practicing managers and professionals largely from the private sector. Candidates come from different academic and work backgrounds. Engineering, marketing, accounting & finance, and banking are the popular ones. The average age of students in a class is about 30 and they possess, on an average, 8 to 10 years of executive experience.  Admission to the MBA program

 Eligibility to apply for admission to the MBA degree program is determined according to the following criteria:

*Age between 24 (minimum) and 50 (maximum) years as at the date of commencement of the first academic term;

*A good knowledge of the English language; and

*One of the following qualifications:

    A bachelor's degree, with at least a second class(upper division)pass, in business/public administration/commerce/management studies from a recognized university.
    A bachelor's degree with good GPA from a recognized university and at least three years of post-qualifying experience in a managerial capacity, or teaching or research experience relevant to the program of study, at an organization acceptable

     A professional qualification recognized by the Institute as being equivalent to a bachelor's degree of a university, a high level of achievement at the examinations of the professional qualification (i.e. a good GPA) and a minimum of three years' post-qualifying work experience in a managerial capacity at an organization acceptable to the Institute

    A bachelor's degree or a professional qualification, as described in (b) and (c) above, and a minimum of three years of post-qualifying experience in successful business development and management.    

    Senior management / business / professional/ research excellence as determined by the Institute. (In this category, the Institute will adopt special procedures for the determination of eligibility to apply, additional test criteria for selection, and limit the number of places allocated in the program)
Fees

Course fees applicable to each program of study are indicated at the time of announcement of each program. Course fees once paid, are not refundable, in whole or in part.

MBA

The MBA course fee for the entire program is LKR 270,000 per candidate.
Course fee for the MBA program for international students is US$ 7,000 per candidate.
Fees can be paid in three installments.
