Maharashtra MBA CET - Test PatternCommon Entrance Test (CET) is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education and is accepted by over 80 institutes in Maharashtra , including the prestigious Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS). This year’s CET written test was held on February 26. This year, non-Maharashtra students were reportedly required to score 135 marks out of 200 in order to make it to JBMS. The reported cut-off for Maharashtra students was around 130. Maharashtra Common Entrance Test 2008 for MBA/MMS/PGDBM/PGDBA (MAH CET 2008) Applications are invited for MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2008 for admission to First Year of two year Full Time Post Graduate Degree Courses in MBA/MMS and PGDBM/PGDBA in the Government, University Managed, University Departments and Unaided Institutes in the Maharashtra State. Date and timing of MAH-MBA/MMS CET-2008: Sunday, 17-02-2008 (2.00 PM) Eligibility for MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2008: Candidate should have passed with minimum of 45% marks in aggregate ( 40% marks in aggregate in case of candidates of backward class categories belonging to Maharashtra State only) in Bachelor’s degree/Master’s Degree in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities. OR Appeared for the final year examination of Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities. 1. For the academic year 2008-09, both the Maharashtra State and OMS candidates who have appeared/appearing for the All India CETs (CAT/JMET/MAT(conducted in Feb. 2008)/ATMA/XAT) are considered eligible for admission against the All India Seats subject to the fulfillment of eligibility criteria mentioned in the Information Brochure. Such candidates are also required to procure the Information Brochure alongwith Application kit and submit & confirm the Online Application form. 2. For admission to MBA/MMS/PGDBM/PGDBA course, the candidate is required to score minimum 20 marks in MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2008. Candidates seeking admission on the basis of All India CETs mentioned above are required to obtain minimum equivalent score. MAH CET 2008 Availability of Information Brochure alongwith Application Kit: The Director of Technical Education, Maharashtra State, Mumbai continues the system of online receipt of application form for MBA/MMS/PGDBM/PGDBA for the year 2008-09.
